Liquid Forging

MKW brings Liquid Forging technology to wheel industry with new line up of Bazo Forged Wheels.

The advanced proprietary Liquid Forging technology allows Bazo Forged wheels to be 25% lighter than cast wheels, resulting in greater braking efficiency and longer miles to the gallon for your automobile. As a one-piece forged wheel, its durability is significantly increased compared to a multi-piece forged wheel. This technology allows our customers with the piece of mind that the air will not leak through the seal and that the bolts will not rust inside and out. In addition, it allows innovative styling by carving new angles and curves that were not available through traditional milling machines.

More on Liquid Forging.
Liquid Forging is an upgraded method of construction from existing semi-solid forging method, and a new method that is a combination of casting and forging. During the first stage of Liquid Forging, a mold is slowly filled with liquied metal and then compulsively pressed from the lower half with high pressure, ranging from 800~1000 kg/cm^2. In the second stage, the metal is pressed with pressure ranging from 3000~4000 kg/cm^2 from the upper part of the mold. This causes the metal to form and solidify.

Aluminum wheels produced using Liquid Forging has the same degree of strength as a forged product, yet remains very light, with a reduced thickness. The slimmer yet just as strong wheels are due to the extremely high pressure of Liquid Forging, and the specialty of making the solidifying liquid metal's micro structure very fine.

MKW Alloy Inc.

MKW was established in 1999 with a vision to reinvent the aftermarket wheel industry with unparelled technology. This resulted in a lineup of wheel brands MKW, MKW Offroad, Bazo Forged, and Avenue wheels. This comprehensive lineup offers our customers with tuner wheels, large diameter wheels, and heavy duty offroad wheels. In early 2000, MKW was the first company to introduce 26" wheels to the market, the Bazo B26. And at the 2002 SEMA show in Las Vegas, MKW became the first company to showcase a 28" wheel. In addition to manufacturing luxury wheels, our state of the art facility, sophisticated equipment, and technology equips us with the capability to produce high performance wheels as light as 15 pounds for import tuner cars as well as semi-truck wheels which require up to 7800 load rating. MKW will continue to pioneer the wheel industry by investing in the latest technology to bring top quality wheels to its customers.
